The stench from the Favre camp is starting to stink...

First he lays down for the sack record in 2001, then he gives the Lions secrets to the Packer offense. (Like it really mattered anyway)

Polls for the upcoming weeks matchups

I posed the question to Scott about adding polls for each weeks matchups showcasing each teams starters and their projected points and then alowing every team from each league the option to vote on which teams they think will win for that week. You would have to submit your lineups say by Thursday morning so we could post them that day and have Friday to vote on the upcoming weeks matches but I think it would be fun and give everyone another reason to check the blog and stay informed on both leagues. Let us know what you think and Scott and I will take care of the rest.

Postponed Baltimore - Houston game

How will scoring be done for players on teams in hurricane postponed game?
Will the outcome of fantasy games be delayed until this game is played?

Garcia's a Tool

I saw Garcia and his gfriend on “The Girls Next Door”.  He acted like such a tool at times.  I think Ted may take a flier for 5th rounder.

Report: Bucs have Garcia on the trade block

I don’t know about giving up draft picks for him, but I think ole’ Teddy would be willing to part with a couple late rounders for his wife!

Could Bolt play WR in the NFL?

Heard an interesting story on the radio the other day. Could Usain Bolt, the Jamacian sprinter, play WR in the NFL? If he were to declare for hte NFL Draft today how high would be go? Bolt would have the speed thing covered, but who knows if he could go over the middle and get his bell rung by a line backer. I'ld bet some team would take a flyer on him in the fifth round.

Playoff Format

The playoff format will be as follows:

The top 3 in each division will automatically make the playoffs. These six teams will be seeded 1-6 based upon win-loss record. The next 2 best records (regardless of division) will be seeds 7 and 8. Total points scored for the season will be the first tie breaker. The second tie breaker will be points scored during Week 1.

8 teams make the playoffs out of 16 teams total. The regular season is Week 1 through Week 14. The playoffs will be Weeks 15- Weeks 17.

Yahoo will not automatically align the playoff bracket to this format. I will be posting a playoff bracket to this blog come Week 15 when the playoff start.

League Setup

The league will be split into two seperate leagues. The only time interleague play will happen is during the playoffs. I will post this format once I get the leagues setup. Here are the two leagues:

WEST DIVISION
Brad B
Rich B
Paul K
Tania A
Sotirios K
Rob R
Erik H
Scott A

East Division
Laura G
Kory A
Tim W
Justin G
Mark C
Jim S
Dan S
Jason J

Scott A will be the moderater for the West Division draft and Dan S will moderate the East Division draft. Both drafts will be held at the same time, one in the large conference room, the other in the small conference room.
